Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Technical Services Superintendent will be responsible for the development and support of geological, geotechnical and survey functions with the technical services team.
About the Role
- Leadership role with a focus on culture, development and continuous improvement of the geology, geotechnical and survey functions within the technical services department.
- High level of interaction with key stakeholders through the entire value chain
- Key accountabilities include but not limited to:
- Exploration planning and management.
- Operational and resource geology.
- Coal feed scheduling.
- Operational and geotechnical design/analysis.
- Operational and statuary surveying.
Roster and Location
- Monday to Friday professional roster
- Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Possess tertiary education in a Mining Related degree or equivalent.
- 10 years' experience in a similar role in the mining industry.
- Developed leadership skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Maintain a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
- The ability to work both autonomously, part of a team, as well as leading a team.
