About the Opportunity
We are inviting applications for an experienced Chef to work on a permanent part time basis at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba.
Duties include:

Preparation and cooking of food according to menu guidelines, standard recipes and food safety requirements

Participate in correct personal hygiene and food handling practices comply with the hospital’s HACCP based food safety program
-
Participate in food process including safe handling and storage, stock rotation, temperature, time and hygiene requirements
-
Ability to be flexible with rostering
-
Be available for morning and afternoon shifts ranging from 5.30am – 7.30pm

Formal Chef qualifications

Demonstrated experience in food handling for at least 2 years

Ability to make decisions and follow instructions

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to cater to a wide range variety of sensitive dietary requirements

Must understand allergy management practices

Excellent communication with a positive friendly manger

Ability to work in a diverse workplace

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with docket system within room service model
