Description:

Shadforth is currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on Serviceman to join our team working across projects in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ipswich Regions.
As part of the one of Queensland's leading Civil Construction companies, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our extensive fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and teamwork to join a company that values its people and their contribution to every project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out scheduled servicing of plant and equipment across various project sites
  • perform basic mechanical maintenance and minor repairs
  • use your HR license to move equipment between job sites when required
  • Operate pressure wash trailers to clean down machinery
  • Monitor machinery condition, identify and report any mechanical faults or leaks
  • Maintain correct fluids (fuel, oil, grease) for optimal machine performance
  • Manage the cleanliness and stock levels of the service vehicle
  • support Diesel Fitters on-site with tasks when needed
What you'll need:
  • Previous experience in a similar servicing or mechanical support role (earthmoving or civil machinery experience preferred)
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to monitor plant and equipment condition, identify & report oil and fuel leaks, whilst ensuring oil, grease and fuel are stocked
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and site compliance
  • Team-focused mindset with good communication skills
  • A proactive and reliable work ethic

Essential requirements:
  • Current HR Driver's license
  • Construction White Card
