Role details The Nutrition and Dietetics Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Dietitian to join their team on a temporary basis. Your opportunity Deliver nutrition and dietetics services to Queensland Health clients within the MHHS. This rotational position works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the provision of quality nutrition and dietetic services to patients within the Health Service across the care continuum. Clinical caseloads may include general medical and surgical, rehabilitation, mental health, paediatrics, antenatal, outpatients, and community services such as CHATS and PPHT. About the Team Our Nutrition and Dietetics Service delivers care to patients, both children and adults, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. As experts in nutrition, our Dietitians provide education and practical support to enable patients to make dietary choices that will maximise their health and wellbeing About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
