As our Assistant Hotel Manager, you’ll support the hotel manager in all things operations. You’ll refine processes, foster a strong and positive team culture, and actively work towards elevating the guest experience, making sure every visitor enjoys their ‘Intrepid Experience’ - one that’s personal, authentic and unforgettable.
Beyond operations, you’ll collaborate with our head office, external suppliers and other stakeholders to streamline efficiencies, maintain high service standards, and drive continuous improvement. You’ll also partner with the hotel manager to optimise revenue and strengthen the hotel’s financial performance.

This full-time, permanent position is based on-site in scenic Coles Bay, Tasmania.
Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

2+ years’ experience in hotel management or a department head role.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Experience in planning and decision making, with the ability resolve problems quickly.

Proven leadership and people management skills.

Financial management skills.
-
First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
