About the role:
Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, you'll be responsible for picking, dispatch, receiving, and inventory management. Your role will help maintain the high-quality service that Geotas is known for, supporting both our team and our clients across Tasmania.
What you'll be doing:

Ensure all goods are received, un-loaded and properly stored.

Check goods received against delivery dockets/consignment notes to verify quantities. Take remedial action if discrepancies are found.

Assist Logistics Manager where required to enter goods received into MYOB inventory.

Check freight rates and freight company invoices for accuracy, for jobs you have quoted and/or arranged.

Organise goods to be shipped out, properly pack/strap for transport, load, and invoice customer.

Assist Logistics Manager with placement and tracking of orders.

Record QA where required on goods being shipped out.

Develop and maintain rapport with suppliers and customers.

Managing and auditing inventory, including stocktakes.

Investigate and develop supply sources.

Assist with sales and phone support.

Prepare quotes for products that you are managing.

Promote the values of Geotas as a high-quality supplier of our clients’ needs.

Maintain yard in a tidy and safe condition with all goods stacked safely and in an orderly position.
What we're looking for

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or customer service role

Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and colleagues

Forklift license
-
Problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach

Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations

Physically fit and the ability to manual handle goods
