We are seeking a reliable and experienced HC Driver to join our team in Launceston. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting steel products safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy combination (HC) vehicles to transport steel products.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers and job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading of steel products as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid HC driver's license.
- Proven experience as an HC Driver, preferably in the steel industry.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks.
