Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with this fantastic health service located in Tasmania to help them find a Nurse Unit Manager to join their team as a permanent employee.As the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) you are primarily responsible for the proactive management of the medical / surgical ward. You will lead and manage the coordination of overall patient care and be responsible for managing the allocated human, material and financial resources for service delivery within the Medical/surgical Unit.

- From $63.66 per hour (1st year) and up to $66.57 per hour (4th year) plus qualification allowance if applicable

To be eligible you must:
- Have full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Experience working as a NUM in a hospital setting
- Extensive post registration clinical experience in medical/surgical nursing
- Previous experience in the management of Human & Financial resources
- Post-graduate management qualifications or working towards
- High level written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
