An exciting opportunity is available for a Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established mobile primary healthcare service delivering essential care to vulnerable Tasmanians.This program, operating for over eight years, is the only mobile medical clinic in Tasmania providing free, no-cost-to-patient healthcare to underserved communities, including those experiencing homelessness and living in residential treatment centres.
About the Role
Join a dedicated team of Nurse Practitioners and Medical Practitioners providing day and after-hours outreach clinics in collaboration with community service organisations. This state and federally funded program is designed to bridge the gap between patients and long-term general practice care.

- AHPRA registered professionals (completion or progress towards Nurse Practitioner candidacy)
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Willingness to support patients experiencing homelessness and social disadvantage
- Ability to work independently within a mobile medical environment
- Experience with Medical Director (MD) Software or willingness to learn
