About the role
This is a key and challenging role with the primary focus of providing a professional maintenance function ensuring safe and efficient operation of the plant and to continually improve plant reliability. The key responsibilities of this role are to provide professional maintenance planning and execution of the plant maintenance strategy to ensure the safe, reliable and cost effective operation.


As a Plant Technician, you will be working on a shift-based roster with 12hours roster shift.

What you will enjoy doing

  • Lead and work safely in accordance with company policies and practices aiming at zero accidents

  • Ensure the safe system of work is implemented and complied with during the day-to-day operations of the plant

  • Maintaining safe optimum plant operation and reliability under various plant production modes including plant start up, shutdown and bulk gases container filling

  • Fulfil the market demand by adapting the production rates for the plant

  • Provide plant and process troubleshooting support which includes the use of Maintenance Systems including Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS - SAP/Maximo), plant spares and inventory management systems

  • Maintain a hand on approach and execute the corrective and preventative maintenance tasks

  • Producing daily production reports, closing work jobs, assist with plant maintenance, and keeping records as required

Skills & experience we are looking for

  • Relevant qualification or trade experience in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Instrumentation

  • Previous experience in plant commissioning and or maintenance experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills suit your profile

  • Forklift licence would be an advantage

  • Experience with SAP would be an advantage including safety management, process engineering, and engineering projects
