Job Description:

Are you passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Woollybutt Specialist Services is seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioners or individuals eager to join our field. As a NDIS registered practitioner, you will play a crucial role in conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing personalized behaviour support plans, and implementing interventions that promote independence and positive outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) and collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized behaviour support plans (BSPs).

• Implement evidence-based behavioural interventions and strategies across diverse settings to ensure client safety and wellbeing.

• Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to clients, caregivers, and support staff to effectively implement behaviour support plans.

• Collaborate closely with allied health professionals including Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists to optimize client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of interventions, progress notes, and incident reports in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Full Australian work rights and a current driver’s license.

• Registration as a NDIS Registered Behaviour Practitioner at core level or above, or willingness to obtain.

• Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Disability Studies, Psychology, or related fields preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting clinical assessments, including functional behaviour assessments, with a strong commitment to person-centred and ethical practices.

• National Police Clearance and Working with Children Clearance (or ability to obtain these before commencing employment).

• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
