Shape the future of education in the Northern Territory as a Talent Acquisition Officer!As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you will support schools to attract and recruit a high-quality workforce to ensure Northern Territory students have access to quality education.
Working in a small team, you’ll be part of the Talent, Attraction and Recruitment branch at the Department of Education and Training which provides high-quality education and early childhood services to over 34,000 students across 153 schools.
In this role you’ll:Maintain talent pools and assist with proactive candidate engagement including Screen teacher’s suitability for employment.Provide administration, support including human resourcing, financial processing, correspondence management, document production and data entry with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.Support the Talent, Attraction and Recruitment team to undertake a range of projects and programs relating to workforce attraction.Initiate, develop, facilitate and maintain collaborative networks and relations with internal and external stakeholders including teachers, principals, regulatory authorities and union officials which include managing and responding to queries via email, telephone and face to face
About you:Knowledge of contemporary attraction and talent including end to end recruitment and candidate managementStrong oral, written communication and interpersonal skills to provide advice and establish and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with people at all levels with a customer centric approach.Excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise workload and complete a number of tasks concurrently within established timeframes.Demonstrated ability to use and support others in the use of information technology including online employment systems, analytical tools and databases.Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Comprehensive understanding of cultural responsiveness in planning, attracting, recruiting, and deploying education workforce resources.
Join us:In return you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package of $103,950 - $109,033 inclusive of 11.5% (Salary $88,297 - $92,687), 6 weeks recreational and 3 weeks personal leave per annum, 17.5% annual leave loading, 3-day shutdown at Christmas, flexible work arrangements, assistance with relocation costs, and an opportunity to experience the uniqueness of living in the Northern Territory.
