As an Insurance Building Estimator/Supervisor , you will:
- Report directly to the Construction Manager.
- Estimate, schedule, and supervise trades and repairs for insurance projects.
- Use our cutting-edge technology to meet and exceed KPIs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships and effectively resolving issues.
- Earn a competitive salary package, including a vehicle, fuel card, tablet, phone, uniform, and industry-specific tools.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Trade Qualified: Preferably in carpentry.
- Experienced: Previous experience in estimating, scheduling, and supervising trades and repairs (insurance-related preferred).
- Knowledgeable: Familiar with the National Construction Code, Building Regulations, and Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using repair management systems, mobile devices, and the Microsoft Office suite, with an aptitude for quickly learning new systems.
- Detail-Oriented: Skilled in creating, reading, and interpreting scopes of work.
- Organised: Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
- Proactive: Thrives in a KPI-driven team environment with a strong commitment to safety.
Experience with the insurance industry, particularly in water claim management, is advantageous but not essential.
