About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and professional security guards to join our client's team. As a security guard, you will be responsible for:


  • Observation and Surveillance : Continuously monitor and observe the premises to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Access Control : Manage and control access to the site by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes.
  • Incident Response : Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
  • Patrolling : Conduct regular patrols to deter criminal activities and ensure the safety of the property and its occupants.
  • Reporting : Maintain accurate logs and records of security activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Customer Service : Assist visitors, answer questions, and ensure a welcoming and secure environment.
  • Safety Checks : Conduct security checks and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Deterring Criminal Activities : Act as a visible deterrent to criminal activities by maintaining a strong presence.
  • Emergency Procedures : Execute emergency procedures, such as evacuations and lockdowns, to ensure safety.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services.
The Successful Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Australian Citizenship : Must be an Australian citizen with a checkable background.
  • Baseline AGSVA Clearance : Active Baseline AGSVA clearance is required.
  • Experience : Previous experience in security roles, particularly in high-security environments.
  • Skills : Strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in using surveillance equipment.
  • Attributes : A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility : Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
