Centre Manager | Moonee PondsWe have exciting leadership opportunities for experienced Centre Managers to join an established childcare centre in the Inner Suburbs of Melbourne. We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals ready to make a positive impact in the Early Childhood Education and Care.
About the Role:
As a Centre Manager, you will lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education in a warm and engaging environment. Your role will focus on ensuring the centre operates smoothly, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting the growth and development of both the children and your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and maintain a safe, nurturing environment;
- Lead and mentor a team of educators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement;
- Manage enrolments, occupancy rates, budgets, and family relationships;
- Engage with the local community to build the centre’s reputation.
- You are authentic, passionate and an excellent communicator.
- You are organised with a great eye for detail.
- You are a strong leader, articulate, commercial and love what you do.
- Hold a completed Diploma and/or (working towards) Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved)
- Prior leadership experience working in a long day care.
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
- Current First Aid Certificate and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Current Working with Children's Check.
