Are you a hands-on technician? Do you enjoy working with equipment? Are you good at fixing things? We're looking for a dedicated and proactive In-House Service Technician to join our Thomastown team full-time.
What You'll Be Doing:
In this role, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing a range of hospital and disability mobility products. From patient lifters to beds and wheelchairs, you'll ensure each piece of equipment is safe, functional, and ready to improve someone's day. You'll also help maintain our workshop, prepare service reports, and manage equipment inventory-all while delivering top-notch customer service.
What We're Looking For:
We're after someone with a mechanical or service background-ideally within healthcare, mobility, or a service-related field-who enjoys solving problems and thrives on getting the job done right. You'll need to be organised, self-sufficient, and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical or Service Technician, or in a similar hands-on role
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong communication and professional customer service skills
- Reliable attendance, and exceptional time management and good admin habits
- Handy with use of hand tools and other mechanical equipment
- Valid Driver's Licence preferred, and willingness to travel locally if required
