Newco Infrastructure Services is a rapidly growing traffic management company based in Kilsyth. We pride ourselves on our great safety record and friendly, professional team. We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor with a focus on safety and planning to join us.

Who we are looking for:
Operations Supervisor to join our Traffic team, who can assist in coordinating and supervising daily traffic control operations to help ensure smooth processes for our clients and on-site staff.
Your role will be to:

  • Assist in allocating and preparing all on-site staff and ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Utilise our internal software and tools to monitor and manage traffic systems, as well as staying updated with these systems and review them to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with on-site staff and clients, both with documentation and onboarding as well as on-site where required, addressing and resolving traffic-related concerns or complaints.
  • Assist with daily traffic operations - allocating shifts, ensuring inventory for all company-owned vehicles, taking jobs on and acting as a point of contact for out-of-business hours for job adherence issues and client requirements.
  • Support the development and execution of Vic Roads permits/MOA's as well as working closely with local Councils to prepare permits and collate information and present reports on traffic conditions and operational performance.
  • Assist with after hours calls and client needs.

Your experience:
You will need a minimum of 2 years experience within the traffic sector, ideally within a coordination/customer service-focused role, and the ability to showcase your previous successes and achievements.
Some essentials for us in this role are:

  • 2 years experience in the traffic sector and ideally some supervisory experience
  • Certification in traffic control or related areas
  • Comprehensive understanding of traffic systems and road safety rules
  • Valid full drivers license
  • Enjoys providing a high level of customer service, and loves talking to and helping people
  • Positive outlook, proactive and a problem solver
