Description:

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Piling Project Manager to join a leading construction contractor, delivering major foundation works across Queensland. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with extensive hands-on experience in CFA, Bored, Driven, and Diaphragm Wall piling on large-scale infrastructure projects.
About You
  • Deep technical knowledge of piling and ground engineering, with hands-on expertise across multiple foundation systems.
  • Proven history of applying modern piling methodologies on complex civil projects.
  • Strong capability in handling technical documentation, reports, and compliance records.
  • Natural leader with the ability to guide site teams and coordinate project stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Your Role
  • Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and foremen to ensure seamless delivery of project plans.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring alignment with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Supervise the setup and installation of temporary works while ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Prepare short-term programs to support project milestones and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Draft method statements and risk assessments to ensure safe and compliant site operations.
  • Monitor variations and additional works, ensuring timely documentation for monthly valuations.
  • Maintain accurate daily site records and reports, capturing all critical project events.
  • Ensure efficient filing and archiving of project data for future reference and audits.
What You’ll Need
  • Minimum 8 years of post-graduate civil engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Industry experience across Australian or New Zealand construction environments.
  • Proven proficiency in self-performing piling and advanced ground engineering techniques.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction principles and operational best practices.
