About the Role

Join us as an Assistant Demand Planner and learn the foundations of forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning. You’ll be supported by experienced mentors and gain valuable skills that set you up for success.

You will be doing…

  • Supporting your team to ensure we have the right amount of stock in the right place at the right time to satisfy our customer’s needs
  • Gaining an understanding of how to forecast demand and manage supply to agreed target levels
  • Running analysis and making recommendations for approval from your Senior Demand Planner
  • Providing administrative and reporting support for the Demand Planning team
  • Support with key daily or weekly tasks when category Demand Planners are away

About You:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in planning or analytical roles in either retail or FMCG industries (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, with strong communication skills and an ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to interpret and analyse data
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Exposure to SAP / JDA (Blue Yonder) or similar systems (desirable not essential)
