Description:
WHO WE AREAt Built Robotics , we’re on a mission to build the robots that build the world .
By outfitting traditional heavy equipment with cutting-edge AI guidance systems, we transform machines into fully autonomous robots capable of executing complex construction tasks—no operator required.
Our robots are already deployed across the $1 trillion construction industry , helping build the backbone of tomorrow’s infrastructure—like solar farms, energy projects, and complex civil works.
As a key player on our Field Operations team, you won’t just witness the future of construction—you’ll help build it . If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and help bring automation to one of the world’s most critical industries, we’d love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLEWe’re looking for a Robot Test Technician to lead the hands-on testing of our autonomous machines at our outdoor test facility.
This role is equal parts operator, technician, and innovator. You’ll be starting up and setting up our test robots, observing and recording their performance, and fine-tuning testing processes in collaboration with our engineers. You’ll operate heavy machinery safely and confidently, preparing the test yard and supporting daily test operations. And, as a representative of the Built brand, you’ll champion safety, precision, and quality in everything you do.
This is a rare opportunity to work with state-of-the-art robotics , contribute to a growing Australian presence, and play a key role in bringing world-class autonomy to the construction industry.
