Our client is a leading financial services firm and this role sits within the asset management arm of the business focusing on private credit. Off the back of continued growth, they’re hiring for an Investment Analyst to support the fastest-growing part of their business.
The Private Credit team manages $5bio across several funds and is continuing to scale quickly. The private credit strategy is broad, with a focus on both corporate lending (to sponsors and non-sponsors) and asset-backed lending. While the investment team operates as generalists, they see most growth in the corporate space, hence the creation of this role. Ticket sizes are 50-150mio and are mostly bilateral.
Our client is looking for someone with 1–3 years’ experience from a private credit fund, investment banking/M&A, or leveraged finance in a bank. You’ll be supporting a Vice President and Associate on all aspects of deal execution including financial modelling, credit papers, due diligence, and legal documentation. Given the broad mandate, we are looking for candidates who are motivated by the opportunity to work across a breadth of private credit transactions.
Our client is known for their excellent culture and you will be joining one of the larger, well-established credit investment teams in the Australian market with great off-shore exposure.
