An opportunity has arisen for a People & Culture Advisor to join our People & Culture (P&C) team in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Group Executive - P&C, working on a 5:2, 4:3 roster across our Perth office and the Golden Grove mine site.
Your focus will be on providing human resources (HR) advisory services and managing end-to-end recruitment. Depending on resourcing needs, the role may involve up to a 60 / 40 split between recruitment and HR during peak recruitment periods.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the main on-site contact for HR queries, offering timely advice and support.
- Managing end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviews, onboarding, and compliance.
- Partnering with managers on performance, employee relations, workforce planning, and development.
- Coaching frontline leaders on HR policies, procedures, and daily workplace matters.
- Supporting key HR processes including performance reviews, remuneration, training, and talent programs.
- Leading or supporting workplace investigations and employee relations matters with discretion.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in generalist HR advisory roles, including recruitment expertise - ideally within the mining, resources, or heavy industry sectors.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in human resources or a related discipline.
- While not essential, exposure to FIFO or remote working environments would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms.
