Salary : $65,000 - $80,000 a year
As the largest resort in the Margaret River region, Abbey Beach Resort is the perfect Busselton accommodation to relax and unwind. The Resort comprises Café, Restaurant, bar and busy Function Centre.
Abbey Beach Resort is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team. You will be expected to demonstrate the highest standards of skills and knowledge in Resort or Hotel engineering with the objective of achieving optimal and smooth operation of all engineering and related maintenance issues at Abbey Beach Resort.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Study drawings and specifications to determine faulty parts to be internally fabricated or replaced and sequence of the Resort’s machine settings and maintenance.
• Carry out and complete all maintenance works/requests according to the established schedule and ensures high quality of finishing work.
• Maintain and operate the building services equipment.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance to a quality standard to ensure the smooth operation of the resort mechanical infrastucture.
• Fabricate necessary parts for equipment repairs and services using drawings and specifications.
• Diagnose faults and perform operational maintenance of the Resort’s machines, repair mechanical parts and equipment.
• Carry out pre and post inspections of occupied and empty properties to determine the extent of internal and external maintenance work required.
• Maintain all inventory and equipment and ensure safe storage.
• Prepare regular reports showing activity schedule and maintenance plan relating to maintenance matters.
• Liase and work with all other maintenance team members providing help and advice as and when required.
• Ensure that the maintenance department provides prompt and where possible professional service to all other departments of the Resort, giving priority to guest areas and Guest comfort and Safety.
• Adhere to all established safety policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant qualifications
• At least 2 years relevant experience.
• A passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
