Description:

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities. Clough currently has an opportunity for an additional Site Payroll Officer to join HR Team on site. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the project's payroll process to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time. Who we are

Your focus will include:
  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are properly recorded and documented.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance on payroll-related issues and processes.
  • Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that materials are delivered to the right place at the right time.

What you will bring to the team:
  • Previous experience in payroll position.
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skill.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team but be able to adapt in what can be a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work on a 19:9 FIFO roster.
