Join DroneShield as a UI/UX Designer to deliver user-centric solutions in the defence sector.
Your role
Responsibilities
- Design user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals using Figma.
- Support the Senior UI/UX Designer in optimizing existing interfaces.
- Design features and improvements from concept to implementation, collaborating with other teams.
- Conduct usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Adhere to and maintain DroneShield’s design system and UI standards.
- Interpret detailed briefs to deliver intuitive, user-centric solutions, iterating on designs based on feedback.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and user experience throughout the design lifecycle.
- Manage timelines and priorities in an agile environment, balancing ad-hoc requests while maintaining high-quality output.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
About you
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a UI/UX design-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Figma and UI/UX design best practices.
- Strong conceptual thinking, interaction, and visual design skills.
- Ability to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple projects.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to justify design decisions and advocate for user needs.
- Knowledge of website design and/or front-end web development.
