Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change arising from population growth and redevelopment. A transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses, and employment opportunities that is seeing Maribyrnong fast becoming a sought after residential, recreation and social destination in Melbourne's inner-west.
The Opportunity
Our Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre (MAC) team is looking for appropriately qualified and suitably experienced Centre Supervisors' who are customer focused and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This role is integral to the safe and effective operation of the Centre and ensuring the delivery of high quality recreational service to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating a safe, friendly and welcoming environment for all patrons through the effective and efficient provision of quality facilities, programs and services at the MAC
- Leading staff teams to provide excellence in customer service
- Ensuring compliance with Industry standards and regulations and Council and Centre policies and procedures
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
- Demonstrated relevant experience working in a senior role within an aquatic leisure facility
- Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- A current Pool Lifeguard and Pool Operations Certificate
- A current Level 2 (Senior) First Aid Certificate
- A current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate
- A current Working with Children Check.
