Part-time: $40k+ AUD per year (minimum 3 hours per day, including weekends)
Full-time (Starting June): $80k+ AUD per year (based on performance)
We are looking for a Junior to Mid-level HR Manager / Operations professional to join our team. This role is based in Brisbane CBD , but we are also open to remote candidates working within Australian time zones . The position will start part-time , with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role by June as the business expands.
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who thrives under pressure and has at least 1 year of experience in task management and recruitment . You will manage multiple marketing campaigns, track and optimize operations, and recruit and train staff. You must stay organized, adapt to fast-paced environments, and creatively handle challenges, especially in social media and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations Management:
Oversee and manage day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently. Quickly solve any hiccups or issues that arise across various campaigns such as TikTok, Reddit, and SEO.
Recruitment & Staff Management:
Handle the recruitment process for various marketing-related roles. With at least 1 year of experience in recruitment, train and onboard new staff to help them integrate into the company. Regularly evaluate staff and contractor performance to ensure goals are met.
Task Management & Tracking:
Use task management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to track marketing operations, tasks, and deadlines. At least 1 year of experience in task management required. Ensure all ongoing projects are completed on time and according to the set expectations.
Creative Problem Solving:
Tackle marketing challenges creatively, such as finding ways to work around platform restrictions (e.g., Reddit bans) or improving the performance of low-engagement videos.
Content Strategy & Viral Marketing:
Contribute to and help manage viral marketing strategies. Understand what content resonates with younger audiences (ages 15-23) and create ideas that have the potential to go viral on platforms like TikTok.
Skills & Experience:
People Skills & Leadership:
Experience in roles that require 1-on-1 interaction with others (e.g., teaching, consulting, or customer-facing positions). Ability to lead, train, and manage a team while ensuring strong communication.
Creative & Critical Thinking:
Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to marketing and operational challenges. Must be able to critically evaluate marketing strategies and make adjustments where necessary.
Task Management & Organization:
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and keep everything organized. At least 1 year of experience with task management tools like Monday.com or similar.
Efficiency Under Pressure:
Proven track record of working effectively in fast-paced environments. Experience working in high-pressure jobs (e.g., fast food, retail, or university-level coursework).
Experience with Social Media & Viral Content:
Strong understanding of social media platforms like TikTok and Reddit. Ability to generate creative content ideas that appeal to younger audiences, with a track record of viral content (e.g., successful TikTok videos, growing Reddit threads).
Quick Learner & Adaptable:
Ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, or strategies and find ways to complete tasks more efficiently than the average person.
