We are currently recruiting for experienced Vegetable Packers who are highly motivated and enthusiastic. The role will see you enjoy a wide variety of tasks.
Extensive on the job training will be provided to enable you to perform these integral roles.
Your role will include
- Obtaining delivery of vegetables and to assemble bags, packaging and cartons
- Packing containers and bags with product, and to count, weigh and measure amounts and adjusts quantities
- Wrap protective material around products, seals bags and containers, and attach pre-printed labels
- Count and place bags and packages onto trays and racks, and into shipping cartons
- Record information such as numbers, weight, times and dates
- Monitor the filling of containers and adjusts machines to maintain volume and seal quality
- Monitor the supply and quality of containers and contents of holding tanks
- Check the cleanliness and operation of machines, equipment and containers
- Adhere to company OH&S protocols and procedures.
Key attributes
- Previous experience in these fields will be highly regarded
- Good communication skills which will enable you to liaise with managers, supervisors and other crew members.
- Strong attention to details and show pride in your work.
- Be flexible with working hours over 7 days/nights.
- Hard working and highly reliable.

This is a full-time position with salary range $65,835-$75,000pa + superannuation determined by experience.
