About the role
The Social Work Clinical Educator is responsible for facilitation and development of education initiatives that foster a culture of clinical learning within the Social Work profession at Eastern Health. Supported by a collaborative interprofessional education team and an active member of the Social Work leadership team, this role contributes clinical and education knowledge and skills to drive innovative education initiatives with a focus on supporting the clinical workforce to deliver high quality patient care.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
• Recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
• Post Graduate qualifications within profession, education or equivalent
• Demonstrated use of education skills, methods and e-learning technologies to develop and deliver education initiatives including interprofessional education.
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
