Description:
We would like to provide our internal workforce the opportunity to express their interest in the role of End-User (EU) Support Officer.
This role will report to Wajma Amid - BSI Service Delivery Manager and work within the Digital Portfolio .
This opportunity is Full Time for a Term up to 8 months .
Salary Range - starting from base $95,764.00 + super
The Role:
- Provides some first, but primarily second level support to execute and carry out the required technical work in order to bring about a resolution to an escalated incident.
- Administers the Service Desk’s tools (telephony and software) to ensure that all calls are responded to promptly & courteously and meet agreed service levels.
- Coordinate efforts with Third-Party service and maintenance providers as necessary to keep EUC equipment and software in good working order, following the authorised warranty and repair authorisation process.
- Monitor and measure the services provided through progress reports, submissions, assessments and statistics to assist with implementing measures to improve the performance of the Service Desk.
- Assist in the configuration definition, procurement, installation and implementation of WaterNSW Standard Operating Environment (SOE), office software, application software, personal computers, printers, telephones, mobile phone management and cabling solutions.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant qualifications in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Current working knowledge of a wide range of computer technologies including desktop hardware, operating systems (Windows 10), peripherals and office automation products
- Proven experience working in a desktop support role with exceptional customer service skills and the ability to perform well under pressure, manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in SCCM 2012, application packaging, SOE development, distribution point management and deploying software.
- Proven experience in Office 365 services, e.g.: Exchange online, Skype and associated integrated web services and compatibilities.
- Proven experience in managing and supporting corporate devices using MDM, e.g.: Airwatch. iPhone experience desirable.
- Proven experience in managing and supporting a computer and peripheral (Canon) fleet (including group policy management) in an organisation of similar size and complexity to Water NSW.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
