The Company Seymour Global is a second-generation, family-owned business established in the 1970s in New Zealand. Seymour's specializes in importing and wholesaling homewares and household goods from around the world. Since 2019, Seymour's has expanded into the Australian market, offering a broad range of products to meet diverse customer needs.
The Role Seymour Global is rapidly growing in the Australian Market and an opportunity has become available for an experienced National Business Development Manager to join their team.
In this role you will have the opportunity to directly influence and help shape Seymour's ambitious growth strategy in Australia. You'll join a dynamic, purpose-driven team with strong core values.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, results-driven person.
This position is fulltime, based in Epping, Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Establish, manage, and grow relationships with portfolio of existing accounts
* Lead and expand sales within national accounts, ensuring consistent growth.
* Find and engage new customers, building long-term partnerships.
* Work with customers to develop new product ranges that meet market needs.
* Set sales budgets, create quarterly plans, and ensure sales targets are met.
* Use sales and product data to guide strategy and track performance.
* Cultivate strong relationships with customers and ensure consistent follow-up to maintain satisfaction and achieve sales goals
What we are looking for:
* Prior experience in a Business Development Manager role
* Strong hunting skills
* Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales target
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
* Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
* Has an innate urge to generate new business
* Driven and hungry for success
Highly Desirable:
* Prior experience in selling to major retailers in AU
