About the Role

The individual will be responsible for leading client engagements, RFP responses, developing service offerings, and participating in the pre-sales process including development of proposals and estimates. This role requires a technically strong individual with diverse Enterprise networking, Data Centre networking, Routing & switching competencies who is confident under pressure and has demonstrated these skills in large scale Network Infrastructure designs.

Also critical for this role is the need for understanding of Business development and identifying the relevant specific components and interfaces needed for putting a winning solution in front of customers.

Ability to spin up POCs and customer demos quickly based on customer requirements for next-gen technologies will be an added advantage.

The individual must have a solid understanding of design aspects across DC LAN, Campus LAN (and WLAN), and WAN technologies. Should be a “guru” in understanding Network technologies and should have exposure to some of these platforms as well. The role will require expertise in Cisco, VMWare, HPE Aruba, Infoblox, Riverbed and similar platforms and entails designing the solutions in cutting-edge Network Technologies in SDN, SDWAN, wifi6 platforms.

To be successful in this role you will have 12+ years or more of experience in Network technologies [with at least 5 years in network presales].

Responsibilities

This role requires working more on next-generation technologies like SDN, SD-WAN, Data Centre virtualization, and Software defined data centers.

  1. Knowledge of platforms like Cisco ACI, VMWare NSX, Cisco/Silverpeak SD-WAN, Cisco Nexus series, Arista DC offering, Aruba wireless, etc. is a must.
  2. Knowledge on DC network virtualization based on SDN controllers and virtual switches.
  3. Understanding of NFV offerings from industry-leading OEMs.
  4. Understanding of public cloud networking (AWS / Azure / GCP) and migration approaches from on-prem to public cloud.
Knowledge & Experience

Should preferably have 12+ years of experience with 5 years in Network pre-sales technologies.

Senior roles in Network OEM / SI / Outsourcing companies.

Should possess industry certifications like VCP-NV or CCNP.

  1. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  2. Very strong commercial sense of running multi-million dollar bids.
  3. Excellent technical architecture and technical documentation skills.
  4. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  6. Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  7. Willingness for international travel at short notice.
