About the role

Lifeblood is seeking a leader to join our Traralgon Donor Centre to shape and maintain a culture that ensures the best experience for every donor, every time. As a Donor Centre Manager, you'll motivate the team, achieving collection targets and meeting key performance indicators to secure Australia's blood supply. • Coach and develop the team to drive continuous improvement across key service performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Foster a safe environment where employees feel cared for, can communicate openly, share ideas and continue to learn
  • Effectively roster employees to meet donor attendance, skill mix and operational requirements
  • Be a great change leader ensuring you explain the “why” and support change for your team
  • Engaging and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing and Regional Partnerships to optimise donor panels

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience managing large sized teams in a customer focussed environment
  • Strong people leadership skills, using human-centric and empathetic management approaches and can work towards change management
  • Motivation to lead and inspire a team to reach shared goals and key performance indicators
  • Ability to foster and build internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • A passion for coaching people, developing skills within your team members and identifying talent
  • Positive nature, with the ability to empathise with donors and team members
  • Strong Excel knowledge, with the ability to dissect and interpret data to make informed decisions
  • Highly committed to safety and quality

This role is being offered on a fixed term full time basis for 12 months from September 2025 to August 2026.
