The Role:

As a key member of the executive team, you will shape and execute Haymes Paint’s trade growth strategy, leveraging your expertise in sales leadership to drive revenue and market share through key market segments. You’ll lead a high-performing team of in-field sales professionals, inspiring them to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve ambitious targets.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of a dynamic sales strategy, driving growth and market penetration across Australia.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth opportunities through each market segment.
  • Oversee business planning, setting strategic objectives, and aligning resources to meet annual and long-term goals.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with senior executives, industry bodies, and key partners to enhance Haymes Paint’s reputation and uncover new opportunities.
  • Drive customer experience excellence, strongly partnering with marketing to integrate insights and shape the customer journey.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximise profitability while remaining competitive.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of in-field sales professionals, building organizational capability and future leadership talent.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, safeguarding business integrity.
  • Monitor performance, set KPIs, and ensure accountability across the function.
  • Drive strategic planning, anticipating industry trends and aligning company goals.
  • Implement frameworks for talent development, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Own budget setting and approval to drive financial performance.
