About the Role
We are looking for Machine Operators with demonstrated experience operating machines. The successful applicant will have strong planning, reading and communication skills and be able to program and trouble-shoot on machines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Programming and operating the various production machines in a timely and safe manner
- Maintaining the machines to ensure they operate at optimum capacity
- Inspecting the product to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality
- Identifying and correcting any machine set up issues
- Identifying and reporting any machine malfunctions or breakdowns that are unresolved
- Have the capability to fault find and resolve machinery minor issues as they arise
To be successful in the role, you will have the following:
- Demonstrated experience operating /programming CNC machines
- Fantastic attitude and excellent work ethic
- A sense of urgency and be able to prioritise
- Understanding of the importance of ensuring the machinery is maintained to a high level
- Capability to problem-solve CNC machine issues
- Be self-motivated
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Professional presentation and manner
