Therapeutic Youth Worker

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting young people in residential settings, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Building strong, positive connections to help them develop life skills and independence
  • Creating a structured, therapeutic environment that fosters growth and healing
  • Responding to challenges with patience, empathy, and professionalism
  • Working closely with a team of professionals to implement individualised care plans
  • You will be expected to travel up to a 1-hour radius from our head office in Baulkham Hills

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for working with young people and a genuine desire to make a difference
  • The ability to stay calm, compassionate, and solution-focused in tough situations
  • Minimum qualification: Diploma of Community Services (or currently studying) or related course
  • Availability for a variety of casual shifts, including weekends and overnight shifts
  • A full, valid Australian Driver’s Licence, First Aid & CPR Certificate & Working with Children Check

Induction & Training

Before starting in this role, successful candidates must attend a comprehensive 5-day induction program. This training is essential to ensure you are fully prepared and confident in your role.

Induction dates will be from 19th of May to 23rd of May in our Baulkham Hills head office. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process.
