Care to join the team?GenesisCare Hurstville now has a role available for a driven and enthusiastic Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic team in a permanent full-time position. As the Radiation Therapist, you will report directly to the Unit Leader and join us as we build our multidisciplinary team during this exciting growth period.
Hurstville is an integrated cancer centre located at the Waratah Private Hospital. The team at GenesisCare, Hurstville strive to deliver a personalised care experience designed to help patients achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.
More specifically you will:
- Personally undertake treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the Centre and across the practice.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure established patient care standards are maintained.
- Liaise with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.
- Ensure patients are provided with relevant material and information relating to radiation therapy.
- Be competent in Radiation Therapy, CT & treatment planning. Possibly rotations in all areas

- Demonstrated technical competence in treatment, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
- The ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services Qualifications and Experience.
- Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy, Radiation Oncology Medical Physics, etc).
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
