About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional Practice Manager to join our team for a 12-month parental leave cover . This full-time position is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values meaningful work, and has a strong sense of initiative and accountability.
In this role, you will:

Oversee day-to-day practice operations, ensuring seamless service delivery from Monday to Friday.

Support and lead a multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical staff, including contractors and GPs.

Be a key driver in the growth of our model of care and identify opportunities to improve service delivery.

Ensure efficient practice operations, workflows, and compliance across systems.

Engage and conduct regular visits to GP clinics and other key referrers to build relationships and actively grow our referral base.

Maintain a strong client focus, enhancing the client journey and care outcomes.

Identify gaps in care, develop tailored care packages, and onboard suitable contractors.

Collaborate across internal teams to strengthen service integration and innovation.

Solid understanding of MBS (Medicare Benefits Schedule), private health billing, DVA, and GP Management Plans.

Experience in referrer engagement and building external stakeholder relationships.

Passion for improving client outcomes, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

Leadership experience in a healthcare or allied health setting is highly desirable.

The Successful Candidate

A minimum 3 - 5 years of practice management experience with proven leadership and management experience

Qualification in Diploma of Practice Management preferred

A passion for delivering exceptional client care

Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills

Outstanding communication and customer service skills
-
Experience in administration roles where problem solving skills are required

Knowledge of GPMPs, Medicare, DVA, and Private Health Fund Claims through HICAPS
-
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office programs and practice management systems, ideally PracSuite
