Our client are an established and reputable residential construction business located in Caloundra. Specialising in kitchens, bathrooms and home/unit renovations across the Sunshine Coast, the team deliver high quality workmanship and tailor made solutions for their clients.

As the company continue to grow, they are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Estimator to join their team.

The opportunity

This is an integral role in the business which will see you working closely with the Estimator and administration team. Your primary duties will see you focussing on managing client enquiries, fostering client relationships and ensuring timely quote submissions. Key duties will include:

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming sales inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels.
• Qualify sales leads and gather relevant information to assess client requirements
• Attend site visits to evaluate project requirements and gain a detailed understanding of scope of works
• Collaborate with the Estimator to develop comprehensive project scopes and quotations
• Monitor and follow up on submitted quotes to secure client decision
• Respond to client enquiries and provide accurate information to ensure client satisfaction

About you

To be considered for this role, we are seeking applications from candidates who have previous experience working within the residential construction industry. Other key requirements include:

• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and concept designs
• Previous estimating experience within a construction environment
• Strong customer service experience with a sales focus
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in utilising sales and estimating software
