Humpty Doo Barramundi is Australia's largest Barramundi farm. This 100% family owned and prides itself on growing a premium saltwater Barramundi for Australia's retail and food service.

We are currently seeking Aquaculture Technicians, to join Nurseries for the day to day running of HDB’s farming operation. During your employment we will train and educate you in a diverse range of skills related to Aquaculture and Barramundi farming.
Aquaculture Attendant Responsibilities:
- Fish Feeding and care
- Data collection and record maintenance
- Observational checks on fish behaviour
- Equipment cleaning and sterilization
- Grading of fish
- Fish sample collection
- Harvesting fish
- Fish stock handling
- Water quality monitoring
Essential Criteria:
- Must have current manual driver’s license
- Own reliable transport
All positions have hands-on work involved where you will be required to carry out general duties that will include the use of hand and power tools including cleaning. At times you will get dirty whilst completing elements of the job.
We are seeking keen, hardworking, people who thrive on a challenge and are comfortable working outdoors in all seasons. You must be comfortable working in and around water. A high level of physical fitness is required as the fish farming environment can be physically demanding.
These positions are available for immediate start for suitable candidates. If you don’t have the experience required for these positions but are interested, we have entry level positions and welcome expressions of interest.
