About the Employer: Catering for our working Indigenous family community. Our enterprises include, Education and Training Programs for our Children and Youth, a Hair Salon, Second Hand Furniture Store, Coffee Van, Traditional Craft Centre, Cultural Awareness Training and Spinifex Skateboards.

Objectively:
Reporting directly to the CEO. Working in conjunction with the school and other services providers. This program is part of our alternative curriculum within the school. Program delivery for our children and youth. Our youth ranger program focuses upon community engagement, bush and town trips, bush activities, boot camps, cooking, cultural awareness, community restorative justice, storytelling and teaching about country.

Key Duties: Program design and delivery, including for school holidays, OHS, liaising with key community stakeholders, budgets, compliance and program evaluation.

Your Background:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Youth, Education/ Conservation/Land Management/Community Development
  • Stable employment history
  • Demonstrated experience with program delivery for indigenous youth and children
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and build rapports with indigenous families, children and youth
  • Ideally offering a strong background within Indigenous communities
  • Essentially holding a current driver's license and have 4 wheel driving experience
