Adecco has partnered with several leading food and packaging manufacturers across Melbourne and we are inviting expressions of interest from experienced Maintenance Managers for upcoming opportunities in the fast-paced FMCG industry. Roles are expected to be available across Melbourne’s Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western suburbs.
We are seeking proactive, hands-on leaders who are passionate about optimising maintenance operations within high-speed production facilities.

As a Maintenance Manager, you would typically be responsible for the overall performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of the site’s maintenance function. Working closely with operations teams, you would lead and mentor a team of technicians, minimise downtime, drive operational efficiencies, and implement preventative maintenance strategies.Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities may include:• Leading and managing site-based maintenance teams
• Developing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Overseeing breakdown maintenance and conducting root cause analysis
• Ensuring equipment compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Collaborating with operations and engineering teams
• Managing maintenance budgets and coordinating external contractors
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across plant machinery and infrastructure
Your Profile
We are interested in hearing from candidates who have:• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role within FMCG, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Strong technical knowledge of high-speed packaging, processing, or bottling lines
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
• Experience implementing CMMS systems and driving data-led maintenance strategies
• An Electrical or Mechanical Trade or Engineering qualification (highly desirable)
