Description:
This front of house role based in Claremont will see you providing high level customer service to residents and visitors in our Exclusive retirement village. You will be supported by our chefs and other front of house staff; this casual role has potential to move onto a permanent part-time position for the right candidate. Working with a small team ensuring high standards in hygiene across the kitchen and dining rooms.
You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment. The residents are the heart of everything we do and the reason we come to work every day, their happiness is key to a successful overall operation, and we are looking for someone who values this as much as we do.
About the role:
This role will report directly to the Village Manager and seek direction from and work together with the Chef on duty.
- Casual position (Regular Shifts).
- Provide a high level of Customer Service to residents serving morning tea, lunches, evening dinner meals and special occasion functions/events.
- Assist in the daily preparation of meals.
- Assist with the delivery of food & beverages.
- Assisting with kitchen hygiene practices.
- Washing up and general cleaning.

- We currently have varying regular shifts available on 6 days per week basis (8:30am – 3:30pm), along with ad hoc afternoon shifts available on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday Evenings (4:00pm – 8:00pm) and additional events work.
- You would be rostered for 1-3 shifts per week depending onavailability and your preferences.
About you:
- Experience in hospitality environment (highly regarded)
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Enjoy building relationships and chatting with the residents.
- Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you!)
- Previous experience in the retirement or aged care industry would be preferred.
- Full on the job training will be provided.

Pay: $29.46 – $47.14 per hour
