Do you want to apply your skills in procurement and drafting contracts to support the delivery of infrastructure in this city? Then this opportunity is for you!Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) leads the procurement and delivery of the ACT Government’s infrastructure (capital works) program.
In this role you will lead a small team of experienced officers responsible for the timely drafting and execution of contracts and agreements required in the delivery of construction related services and works. In addition to drafting agreements, the Contracts team provides advice regarding procurement processes to iCBR project officers.
In turn, iCBR project officers undertake procurements and administer / manage contracts.
The Contracts team maintains a suite of contemporary contracts, provides support for the use of the standard suite of contracts, and is becoming increasingly involved in managing panel arrangements.
You will be part of a dynamic and experienced branch—Portfolio Performance and Procurement, which consists of the Portfolio Reporting, Project Quality, Procurement & Prequalification, Contracts & Panel Arrangements.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in a related area would be highly desirable. This would include procurement, law, contract management or commercial management in an infrastructure related environment.
Notes: This is a temporary position available from 12 May 2025 until 30 June 2025. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. This position is available to ACT Government officers and employees only.
