About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Lecturer to join our program. This position requires travel on unsealed roads to remote Aboriginal homeland communities. You will also be experienced in culturally sensitive delivery to Aboriginal people and may have previously worked in a remote Aboriginal community setting. You will be experienced in the delivery of language, literacy and numeracy training of adult learners, preferably Indigenous and/or English as a Second Language.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

  • Remote long distance 4WD driving is an expectation of this position.
  • Managing one’s health and wellbeing for working and living in a remote and isolated location is an expectation.
  • Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
  • Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
  • May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
  • A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
  • Eligible to work in Australia
