About the Role
The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
TAFE SA is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have substantial industry currency and experience within an agriculture or related industry.
Minimum entry requirements:
- Must hold a Certificate in TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Certificate III Agriculture or related field.
- Proven ability to aid in the development of learning resources used in the delivery of training package competencies.
- Sound knowledge of current industry practices and farm based practical knowledge including animal handling and management, general farm maintenance, chemical use and application.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
- A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
