Description:

This role represents the pinnacle of financial and accounting expertise within the organisation, with overall responsibility for all financial and fiscal management aspects. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial advice, corporate performance reporting, and play a crucial role in shaping the future of the organisation. This is an interim full-time position based in Perth. There is a possibility of a permanent role.

What you'll do:

1. Oversee the development of annual capital, operational budgets, KPI’s and cashflow statements.
2. Ensure timely production of periodic financial management reports.
3. Responsible for compliance including statutory and completion of external audit functions.
4. Manage cashflow, including monthly cashflow reporting and forecasting.
5. Provide strategic financial advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Board.
6. Develop and implement long term Strategic Financial plans for the organisation.
7. Coordinate and manage the internal review function.
8. Provide leadership and direction to staff that is consistent with Vision, Purpose and the strategic goals.

What you bring:

1. Tertiary level degree in Accounting with CPA/CA Status.
2. 7-10 years Chief Financial Officer experience.
3. Highly effective leadership, organisational and management skills.
4. Extensive experience in successful interaction with people at all levels.
5. Strong analytical skills and experience in systems development and implementation.
6. Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care.
