About the role
The Case Work Team Leader drives the team to deliver impactful service, ensure the team is equipped, engaged, clear on and accountable for their objectives
This position sits within the AOD Outreach Cluster which aims to improve the health, wellbeing, housing and social outcomes of people who use alcohol and other drugs and/or those experiencing homelessness in the Inner North West of Melbourne.
The team is based at Central City in the CBD and at Health Works in Footscray. The Team Leader will travel between sites in providing leadership to the team.

Your duties include:
- Ensure activity is meeting funding and organisational requirements
- Leads team to deliver collective and individual objectives
- Ensure team activities deliver the service Model of Care and align with cohealth strategic
- Recruiting and inducting new team members and building their self-organising capability and fostering alignment with team members

Our ideal candidate:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Development, Social Work)
- Demonstrated team leadership in a community or public health organisation working with marginalised populations
- Demonstrated experience supervising and coaching staff to deliver quality care outcomes and lifting performance
- Victorian Driver’s Licence
All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination.
Roles that are determined to be Risk Category A or B [staff that have direct and/or indirect contact with body substances and are at higher risk of occupational exposure to infections] will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza prior to commencement [A] or within 12 weeks of commencement [B].
