The Team

Join Webjet’s dynamic and energized Commercial Product team to help shape and drive the Ancillary Product roadmap - you'll manage our Travel Insurance/Protection Products, Car Hire/Transfers and Activities with the opportunity to innovate on exciting offerings to our customers.

This key role will contribute to our success and growth in the online travel industry by driving innovation, increasing sales, and supporting our ongoing success.

The Opportunity to:

  • Strategic Planning & Roadmap Execution : Develop and manage the product roadmap, set the direction for each quarter, and go-to-market strategies aligned with business growth and profitability goals.
  • Commercial & Partner Management : Lead commercial contract negotiations and manage third-party supplier and partner relationships to drive value and support strategic objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Align internal stakeholders to optimise customer journey touchpoints and maximise ancillary revenue opportunities.
  • Content Optimization & Strategy : Ensure accurate, high-performing product content to enhance customer experience and drive sales, while identifying gaps and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborative Partnerships : Work with suppliers and analytics teams to optimise online in-path and post-booking sales, and generate performance insights for revenue growth and market competitiveness.
  • Cross-functional Enablement : Translate business needs into clear requirements for engineering, UX/UI, and marketing teams to support effective execution.
  • Revenue Growth & Cost Optimization : Drive achievement of revenue targets by identifying new ancillary products and revenue streams, cost-saving opportunities, and scalable technology solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring & Risk Management : Monitor budgets closely and proactively communicate risks to revenue or cost base, ensuring alignment with growth and EBITDA goals.

Skills And Experiences

What we love to see:

  • Demonstrated experience in Product Management - a background in Travel, Insurance or Car Products would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to guide and influence cross-functional teams, working closely with Product, Marketing Sales, IT, and Customer Operations teams.
