About the position:
This employment opportunity is offered as a full time fixed term 8 month contract.
The City is seeking an organised and self-motivated person with attention to detail to join the Treasury & Finance branch in the position of Operations Finance Officer.
This position is responsible for providing accounting services and financial assistance to the Maintenance Operations branch located at the Geraldton Depot and to ensure that all costings and reporting accurately reflects the activities undertaken by that team.

Position requirements:
Candidates should have an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and relevant experience or lesser
qualification with significant experience. The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of
accounting principles including accounts payable processes. Sound computer literacy skills with
proficiency in a range of IT applications and experience in maintaining databases are highly
regarded.
A national police clearance is required for this position.
Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required
of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
The Operations Finance Officer position has a salary starting from $84,883 per annum or $42.9568 per hour, offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
